- Restorative Options
There are varied restorative options available to people
who want a stunning smile. These options are:
Crowns -
A crown, also called a “cap,” covers the
entire tooth, and is often used over a tooth that has extensive damage
from decay or breakage. Crowns also replace a broken or misshaped tooth,
cover discolored teeth, restore a fractured or broken tooth, replace a
large filling or replace a cracked or leaking filling.

Bridges -
Bridges are often used to replace a missing tooth.
A bridge consists of crowns that cover existing teeth on each side of
the missing tooth. A third crown is permanently attached to the two crowns
creating a “bridge” that fills in for the missing tooth.

Bonding -
Bonding is an application of a white composite resin
that’s matched to your own tooth. It is one of the easiest and less
expensive cosmetic procedures. Bonding is often used for small repairs
of chipped, decayed or discolored teeth. It can also be used to close
spaces between teeth, lengthen teeth or to change the shape or color.
Tooth-Color Fillings -
This method is used to replace old silver fillings
that cause teeth to appear gray and dull. Tooth-colored fillings are white
resin composites matched to blend with your own teeth. It’s the
ideal method to replace the high percentage of old fillings that have
decay under them.

Tooth Reshaping -
Tooth reshaping removes small amounts of tooth enamel. It is often used
to correct minor imperfections.
